EMIRATES NBD FIRST TO LAUNCH PAYMENT OPTION OF DUBAI POLICE FINES THROUGH BANKING CHANNELS
At a press conference at the Dubai Police headquarters, Emirates NBD, the largest banking group in the Middle East in terms of assets, signed an agreement with Dubai Police to become the first group to launch a payment option of Dubai Police Fines through its banking channels. Emirates Bank Customers will now be able to inquire and pay their traffic fines through Automated Teller Machines, Smart Deposit Machines, and Bank Net, the online banking service. As for National Bank of Dubai customers and the public at large, they can avail the service through using the Cash Deposit Machines.
Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui, Executive Vice President Marketing and Corporate Communications, Emirates NBD commented on the occasion by saying, "Emirates NBD has always strived to provide innovative services and products to our customers and the UAE community. The Bank has been a long time partner with Dubai Police and this affiliation is reflected through both organizations’ continuous drive to serve Dubai and its people.”

The Inquiry and payment can be done through 4 ways: via traffic File ID, Ticket Number, License Number and Plate Number for Private Vehicle, Taxi’s, Public Transport and Motorcycle.
Mr. Mohammed Al Falasi, Head of Alternative Channels, Emirates NBD added, “The bank continues to invest considerable resources in its technological and electronic capabilities. The Dubai Police Fine payment service is yet another initiative which is to be added to our various advanced and state of the art products. This comes as part of our efforts to provide convenience and save time for both our customers and the public. "
