meBANK BECAME DRIVING FORCE AT THE LG SUPER RACING WEEKEND

United Arab Emirates, Monday 11th October 2004 – meBANK, UAE's leading and most exciting retail bank, was the only bank to co-sponsor the LG Super Racing Weekend which took place at the purpose built Dubai Autodrome from October 6th until October 8th, further enhancing meBANK commitment to promoting sporting events in Dubai.
The international racing happening, which took place for the first time ever in the Middle East and specifically in Dubai, attracted more than 15,000 visitors who came from around the world to witness one of the most exciting sporting events of the year.
Mr. Louis Scotto, General Manager Retail Banking Emirates Bank said: "Supporting the LG Super Racing Weekend is with no doubt very beneficial for promoting our brand internationally however, it is also our duty towards the government of Dubai, which constantly work to promote Dubai through attracting and hosting international events."
The race hosted a meBANK stand with ATM machines, which were of great help to the majority of the spectators who at a certain point were short on cash taking into consideration that there was plenty of nice souvenirs to purchase and great food that couldn't be missed.
Last week, meBANK has been giving away two complimentary tickets to the race for its customers with every product they took, including loans and credit cards.
