EMIRATES NBD ANNOUNCES IT STARTED INTEGRATION OF ITS NETWORK OF 474 ATM MACHINES

Emirates NBD, announced it started integrating its network of Automated Teller Machines which will result into one aligned platform and more services across the network of 474 ATMs owned by the banking group. The network constitutes of 234 Emirates Bank ATM machines, 60 Emirates Islamic Bank ATM machines and 180 National Bank of Dubai ATM machines. Customers of the three banks can soon use any of the machines belonging to the enlarged ATM network to perform various banking and payment transactions that will be available in unison across this channel.

Mr. Jamal Bin Ghalaita, Emirates NBD General Manager, Consumer Banking and Wealth Management commented, "We are very proud of reaching this new milestone which is part of the successful merger process and strategy. Following the success of the Smart Deposit Machines integration process, Emirates NBD is pleased to announce the integration of its ATM network. Emirates NBD customers as well as the public at large will enjoy access to a larger ATM network, offering them the ultimate convenience that only a leading bank can provide. Emirates NBD is going full steam with its integration strategy while constantly developing and upgrading its products and services to ensure the most advanced and highest quality of service is always offered to its customers."

 

Emirates Bank ATMs allow customers to view their account/credit card details, transfer funds between accounts, pay telecommunications bills (Etisalat and DU), Pay Utility bills for DEWA, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) and Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC), and Empower (District cooling for Jumeirah Beach Residents registries), request mini statement and cheque books, pay Dubai Police & RTA fines, recharge SALIK cards, purchase Air Arabia ticket, as well as make donations to reputed organizations. The machines are quick and easy to use and are programmed in both English and Arabic.
