Emirates NBD, holding company of Emirates Bank and National Bank of Dubai, took part in The Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon Fundraising Gala Dinner, which was under the Patronage and Presence of Her Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, by inviting its Private Bank Clients to the event and offering them the opportunity to bid in the fundraising auctions. 

The prestigious event which treated its guests to a performance by the famous Arab singer, Saber Al Rubai'I and which featured several auctions on expensive and antique items by 'Christie's' Auction House, took place at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel.

Mr. Jamal Bin Ghalaita, Emirates NBD General Manager Consumer Banking and Wealth Management commented, "Emirates NBD takes its role as an accountable community player very seriously.  We would like to take this opportunity to commend the great efforts of The Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon.  We are strong believers in the importance of giving back to society.  We are very fortunate to have clients who are able to make a difference and appreciate their generosity and support for this wonderful cause."

The Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL), established in Beirut, Lebanon, is a unique regional center for the comprehensive treatment of pediatric cancer. An affiliate of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee (St. Jude), the center works in close association with The American University of Beirut, Medical Center (AUBMC).

The CCCL covers all costs of care beyond those reimbursable by third party payments and total costs when the latter are not available. The CCCL depends on donations, and its ability to fulfill its mission is constrained by the availability of funds at its disposal.
