Emirates NBD, the Dubai-based banking group and holding company of Emirates Bank, National Bank of Dubai and Emirates Islamic Bank announced the integration of its network of Smart Deposit Machines which resulted into one aligned platform and more services across the network of 92 Smart Deposit Machines owned by the banking group.  Emirates Bank owns 62 SDM machine while Emirates Islamic Bank owns 19 and National Bank of Dubai owns 11 of these machines. Customers of the three banks can use the enlarged combined network free of charge.

Mr. Jamal Bin Ghalaita, Emirates NBD General Manager, Consumer Banking and Wealth Management commented, "Following the SDM integration process, Emirates NBD customers as well as the public at large will enjoy access to a larger Smart Deposit Machine network, offering them the ultimate convenience that only a banking champion can provide. Emirates NBD constantly strives to boost its range of products and services to be always ahead of its customers' requirements and needs."

Emirates NBD's Smart Deposit Machines offer UAE residents  payment options for various utilities and services such as Etisalat; DU; SALIK Recharge; RTA Fine Payments ; Dubai Police Fine Payments; Air Arabia ticket purchasing; Dubai Electricity Water Authority (DEWA); Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC);Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC); Empower district cooling bills as well as donations to various charity organizations. Many additional services are in the pipeline and will be launched soon.

Aside from being a payment channel Emirates NBD's Smart Deposit Machines offer the banking group's customers the convenience of depositing cheques and cash into their accounts or credit cards. The machines are quick and easy to use and are programmed in both English and Arabic.
